FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE - JULY 22, 2024
All Football and Cheer Teams practice at SVHS field
Practice 5:30-7:30pm Monday thru Friday until Labor Day (or at least the first 2 weeks)
After Labor Day teams will practice 3-4 days per week 5:30-7:30pm
*Practice schedule may vary slightly by team.
Flag Football will practice for 1 hour before each of the games.

Important Player Information
NEW for 2024---- 6U Flag Football
Players must be 6 and under as of 7/21/24. Teams will play 4 games during the season before the home Jr. Dragon Tackle Football Games. Dates and are TBD. Practice 1pm- 2pm game 2pm- 3pm for 4 Saturdays.
We will be fielding 3 Tackle Football teams this season:
Football Divisions are based on players 2023-24 GRADE: school & grade verification required.
Peewee: (4th grade and under). Football Players can weigh up to 95 lbs. *must be age 7 on or before 7/22/2024
Junior Varsity: (5th-6th grade) Football Players can weigh up to 130 lbs.
Varsity: (7th-8th grade) Football Players can weigh up to 170 lbs. *must be age 14 and under as of 12/31/23
If your athlete is not eligible due to age/weight, please contact us to determine a plan to play. We will not turn any athlete away due to weight. (It might impact their ability to participate in games).
Players may play up a division (based on skill, age/grade, and weight)
CHEER: Teams will be determined based on number of registrants and school grade.
All games will be played on Saturdays!
We have joined the Mendo-Lake Empire Junior Football League (MLEJFL)

Sonoma Jr Dragons Youth Football & Cheer is a registered 501c3 Non Profit organization dedicated to providing football and cheer opportunities to local youth ages 7-14 years old. We are always looking for volunteers, sponsors and donations to help support our program.
